The United Kingdom is blessed with spectacular scenery and stunning vistas.  However, for those with a disability, use a wheelchair, or struggle to walk longer distances, getting out and about to appreciate our green and pleasant land can be a challenge or even impossible.

However, there are now a range of all-terrain mobility scooters which are designed to handle rough terrain, allowing you to venture off the beaten path and enjoy the great outdoors with freedom and independence.  While their design may not be suited to every person who is living with FOP, due to their personal restrictions, we hope that it will give some people in our community other options.

These vehicles are simple to operate, comfortable, and stable, allowing riders to enjoy the freedom of the outdoors with family and friends.

With a growing network of hire locations across national parks, nature reserves, and stately homes, these vehicles are opening up our beautiful countryside to everyone.

They are available at some National Trust and English Heritage properties, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, North York Moors National Park and more.

There are a number of companies which produce all-terrain scooters and vehicles.  Trampers are one of the leading brands, used across many of the UK’s major parks and organisations.

You can learn more about the vehicles and find a full list of UK sites which are using their vehicles.
